Or lack there of, really.  I am trying to eat things with very few ingredients as to be healthier and stay away from processed stuffs and sodium stuffs.  Boy are there lots and lots of crazy “ingredients” found in certain, if not many, foods.  I shop at Trader Joe’s often, thus turning a blind eye to the fact that even though foods are deemed organic and sold in an “organic” grocery store does not mean that they aren’t still chalked full of impossibly pronounced, stuffs.  Ok, ok, so it may seem simple- just eat things like whole foods, fruits, veggies, fish, chicken, eggs, and the like.  Hmm, yes, simple, but sometimes a girl wants to eat a bit more without necessarily diving into the forbidden processed land pool, dip your toe into these waters and it can be hard to crawl out.  Not to say I don’t do it-I am far from perfect.  Cookies are my kryptonite.  I could eat them round the clock with a smile on my face and love in my heart…sigh.

So I searched, for a yummy-enough alternative that was healthy with few ingredients.  Here is one option that I found:  The Oatmeal Banana Cinnamon Cookie.  In that name I have literally just told you the recipe and ingredients involved.  3…3 ingredients: Rolled oats, bananas, and cinnamon.

Mash up a few bananas:


Mix with rolled oats-fairly equal ratio depending if you like your cookie to be a bit more mushy or a bit more oatmeal-y:


As much cinnamon as you like (I like lots and lots and lots):


Drop onto a baking sheet in small mounds:


Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes or until brown:


Voila and enjoy!
